Thoughts: So happy to get back into Holly Martin’s White Cliff Bay! Something on a lighter scale then all the suspense books I have been reading. Her books always seem to make me laugh. This can pretty much be stand alone though I have forgotten characters from the first book. After reading the excerpt for book 2 you see some characters have made a appearance in this. For a bit of the book I did not understand where the new job was going to join in. But I loved how the story ended with the lighthouse. It was interesting to read about British foods he was trying, she describes them and does not just figure we know what they are. Which is a plus in my book since I am not that familiar with all British foods. The item under the bowl was really funny, Holly Martin always makes me laugh with her humor! Always keeping my eye out for a new title by her.

This is a free ARC via Netgalley, I do not get paid for this!
